AAB has bolstered its presence in the north of England through the purchase of Barlow Andrews and its affiliated entity, Beech Business Services. With a legacy stretching over a century and a current staff count of 70, collectively, Barlow Andrews and Beech Business Services offer an array of services including audit and accounts, tax, payroll, outsourcing, and business advisory support.
The Bolton firm's integration into AAB is effective immediately, though both businesses will operate under their existing names during a transition phase.
John Beevers, Head of Professional Services at AAB, said: "By combining our expertise with Barlow Andrews' deep knowledge of the north west region and its market, we are confident we will drive continued innovation and success for our clients."
Chris Harland, managing partner at Barlow Andrews, commented: "Over the years, we have built a strong reputation in the north west by focusing on delivering great results and fostering close relationships with our clients."
He further noted: "In AAB we've found a partner that not only aligns with our vision, but also offers the resources and expertise to broaden the support we can provide to our clients.", reports the Insider.
Following an investment from August Equity in 2021, AAB has witnessed a threefold increase in size and now boasts a workforce exceeding 1,000 across UK, Ireland and international locations.
